    Bicep are great!

Agree with the earlier comment about the Avalanches - I love their stuff so I stuck their set on the iPlayer and at first was a bit disappointed as it seemed they were just dancing along to their own records; but the more it went on (and possibly the more Belgian beer I drank) the more I got into it. They were mixing up their songs, throwing in new bits and squelches from their synths and everyone there including the band seemed to be having a ball, even if it was about 4 in the afternoon and broad daylight. By the end one of them was standing on the mixing desk playing a theremin solo. Well recommended if you like their vibe.

Once again, you can’t fault the BBC’s coverage - seemed to be everywhere and anywhere!

i was tooting for The Pet Shop Boys last night, but no way could that be classed as a 'live' set 50% of it was miming and i wonder were the keyboards even 'live'

any explanation for the solo start? were they scrambling around backstage looking for the right backing tracks?😎

What parts do you think we're being mimed?

The screen didn't lift at the start, the idea is they walk a few steps, Neil to the mic, Chris to the keys. But Neil had to walk round the screen, Chris ended up going to his other keys setup. Otherwise you wouldn't have heard the riff in Suburbia. Cos it's not being mimed.

I certainly didn't think PSBs was mimed - obviously a fair bit of the backing is pre-programmed but they had drummers and an extra keyboard player so probably more live bits than at one of their shows where it's just the two of them.

I saw TLC doing "No Scrubs" on one of the highlights shows and that did look mimed, though it's also possible the audio was just out of sync.

No scrubs was very clearly mimed, and had a back track of Left Eye's vocal.

I was at both. PSB were not miming. They were fantastic

TLC was absolutely abysmal. Comedy stuff with the miming

Catching up on my Glastonbury backlog. Really enjoying the performances, but why were the shows padded out with so much chat and waffle...

They played 2 Leon Bridges songs, 2 Jessie Ware songs and they were named in the 'headline' for the episode!
