Didn’t know the Pixies song was called ‘Vel-loo-ria’ :D

The best song Partners In Kryme ever did :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,520 ✭✭✭dasdog

Well two unremarkable episodes but it was a lot better than last weeks offering. Pixies playing a card before doing their tour where the support band will soon wipe out Poison, Gun, Thunder and the like. LFO laying some groundwork too.

    LFO

    They're no Jive Bunny.

I prefer to remember LFO that way, and not for their ‘New Kids On The Block had a bunch of hits, Chinese food makes me sick’ period :pac:

I sense a disturbance in the force, top-poppers...

‘Jesus Walks’ - top tune :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,520 ✭✭✭dasdog

This is way too popular, Kanye ugh.

The brilliant Czarface and MF Doom who is recently deceased for the win.

Kendrick Lamar seems to be in the episode at 11pm which should be an improvement.

It's nice that Dave Grohl bought the equipment from Sound City, so many good albums came out of the studio

I've seen Ice T in law and order so many times you'd forget he was a rapper

They didn't really choose a good tune for the documentary from Ice-T's repertoire. I never got to see Bodycount - I was doing other things in 1993 :)

I was chilling in the womb in 1993

Dr Dres album "2001" is an absolute gem of an album

Especially when they turn films like the lion king or back to the future into a musical

Even that's not as bad as...well whatever Cats is.

Honestly, I believe that to be humanity's greatest crime.

They are up there - awful things. People pay money to see them calling it a good nights entertainment.

Anyway, it's the much maligned Phil Collins seventieth birthday today. As much as he is an arse - he did release Easy Lover with Philip Bailey which is one of the greatest yet cheesy number ones of all time. And had a few other notable hits. So bad it's good territory.

Really enjoyed last night’s ‘Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America’ episodes.

Never knew that much about Kendrick Lamar - must delve into his discography :)
