Here’s millionaire Phil Collins singing about the plight of homeless people.

Former Genesis singer Phil Collins said he'd leave the country in 1997 if Labour were elected.

    They were and he did.

Sounds good, and a nice gig for Huey

Huey on this show and guy garvey on jools. 2 great contributors to bbc radio 6 - does anyone listen to radio 6 at the weekends? It’s incredibly eclectic and a joy to listen to radio that does not have chart ****e on repeat. Expanding musical horizons at its best.

Recently I've mostly been listening to Lauren and Shaun/Mary-Anne on daytimes but I really should be checking out more of the 6music output.

The weekend schedule looks terrific, thanks for the reminder.

Slightly OT but you reminded me of a story from 1989/90. I was working in a pub in Northampton and a customer had 2 spare tickets to a Gary Moore concert in Birmingham . Myself and a mate , Dessie, went along with him and a few others. The following morning we were having a few in the pub and a lad asked us where were last night.

Dessie: we were at a Gary Moore concert.

Lad: Oh. Did he play "Out in the Fields"?

Dessie: No. He played in the NEC in Birmingham.

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

Hello again, well this week would have been Glastonbury time and the BBC are going properly large with lots of repeatage including proper full length sets from recent years

There is probably as much airtime as there would have been if the thing was on anyway, so hopefully there is something to interest you here. The Bowie 2000 set is advertised as being the full set, which is nice. Please to report that Nile Gregory Rodgers Jnr gets a full BBC4 set, which is only right and proper

There is also action on BBC Radio and if you can convince the BBC website you live in the UK they have lots more Glasto Goodies to gorge on

Love this weekend of the summer. Never been to glasto but there’s nostalgia in watching it on tv growing up. Nothing like discovering a few new artists and watching a gaggle of eclectic music

I'd seen it before but got sucked in watching it again last night, it's a great documentary and I like the way it just drifts from scene to scene with no voiceover or captions; and also how they mostly focus on the punters and workers rather than the acts. If they were making it now they'd probably include less Rolf Harris
