Lingard is second in FFS poll
Never thought I’d see that day !

Lukaku seems simple enough,Stoke no manager regulation fodder. Lukaku at home,he wont be to far off top goal scorer spot by end of the season and should ship a few here.

If we knew he was gonna play id love to get Sanchez in and stick it on him too much uncertainty though so probably kane

Kane - His man flu should be gone by now :D

Probably Kane. Will have both Hazard and Morata for one more week but don't trust either of them.

Kane. Rested. Not Sick. Too afraid not to captain him.

This is exactly the type of home game he has struggled in this season though
Everton will have 10 men behind the ball
Depending on my transfer he may or may not be my captain

    Pogba

Because he hasn't been looking his old self for a while now. And getting subbed off seems to have become the norm

I really want to go Hazard, but not sure I’d have the balls.

    Probably Kane.

Kane for me. Everton have started to concede again

Gone very punty and stuck it on ozil against a leaky Bournemouth defence surprised no arsenal options in the vote

He's an injury doubt, might not even start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,336 ✭✭✭✭km79

Yeah I'll be captaining Kane again

I can't see him not starting with no Sanchez tbh it's a risk but I'll take the chance

I've been 50-50 between Aguero and Kane all week.

All my rivals have Kane and will captain him so Im going with Aguero for a differential choice over them.

Everton more solid at the back than Liverpool.
City have the best attack in the league, consistently best striker in the league in last few seasons, Jesus injured leave less rotation risk, in what I expect to be an opening game with 2 attacking teams.
    All sounds good to me

    Except Pep
will probably rest Aguero and throw Mangala up top knowing my luck :D

    Cue a boring 0-0.

Alonso also giving me the keys as a wild 3rd choice but I'll resist that.

    That's just simply not true.

Kane for me, think it's the safest option. No need for risks at this stage

Surely just having Aguero is differential enough?

Not captaining Aguero still helps you.

Not captaining Kane could hurt you.

If I had Hazard, him 100%. Had it on Lingard all week but after the Hughes sacking I might go the sensible route with Kane.

    Going with Alonso

    Kane

Have Kane, Hazard and Pogba and leaning towards Pogba. Stoke by far worst of opposition for those three and would think it’s game with most goals by home team and he will be at heart of it

Been fairly out of the loop since last week.

Had it on Kane since I last logged in, now this has pricked my ears...

    That's just simply not true.

    Well that's my opinion.

Who's more likely to try and be able shut up shop?
Allardyce against Spurs or Klopp against the league's best attack in Man City?

Everton's defence has impressed me since Sam came in, much more than Klopp's Liverpool has all season.

We'll see, but I need to be gambling a bit to catch rivals. Risky I know, as Spurs can score freely against anyone.

I have Kenny & Gomez at the moment (may make a transfer), both on the bench, Kenny Sub1, Gomez Sub2. IMO, Spurs more likely to 'blank' than City but can't see either keeping a CS this week

That's similar to my thinking. Can see Everton as more capable of parking the bus.
And its not Liverpool's style of play to sit back, shut up shop and defend.

Your opinion is that Everton are more solid at the back is incorrect tho? Just because you say it's an opinion doesn't make it true.

Liverpool have conceded 4 goals at home this season. Yes they are against the best attacking team in the league, but Everton have haven't been as good at the back as would be expected since Sam took over.

Realistically both are going to concede but I'd think that the Liverpool defenders would have a higher chance of scoring.

Fair enough. Agree to disagree, captaining Kane doesn't make sense to me this week over Aguero, with respect to rivals.

Liverpool's defenders chance of scoring is going off the point here. Its irrelevant to my choice between captaining Aguero or Kane. I don't own defenders from either club and wouldn't play them this week if I did.

In my situation I think captaining Aguero as a differential is the correct decision, if he scores, great. Very few in my league have him. If he doesnt and Kane explodes, I still have Kane points half covered against rivals captaining Kane.

Clear cut to me the more I think about it.

As always, if owning and captaining Aguero is wrong I don't want to be right :)

Yeh that's fair enough not here to argue! :)

On the downside I did see a stat on twitter earlier stating Aguero hasn't scored in his last 5 games in Anfield I think? Don't have the source off hand unfortunately.

Well it was a nice idea. :)

Eyes glued to Aguero now for tomorrow!!

Won't roll the dice like that again for a few gameweeks.

Ah yeah, I had myself talked into it though.

I still have 2 shiny Sergio's to play tomorrow and haven't lost too much ground having a good gameweek otherwise so far.

My logic was right which mean nothing in this game though.
3 people in my league didn't captain Kane, me and 2 dead teams, it was worth the risk for me.

Aguero could well score twice tomorrow
Wouldn't write it off as a fail yet
