what are your tips for the leaving cert

    especially if im only starting to hardcore study right now do i have time to catch up.If im doing all higher level subjects. How can i improve in subjects such as english where theres no right or wrong and i dont have time to read a novel

    Cookie, you have 5 months to read a novel!!! :)

    Hell, if you put your mind to it, you'll have it read before you go back to school! ;)

    I don't mean this to sound harsh, and forgive me if it comes across that way, but I honestly think you may be falling into a common trap that quite often ensnares LC students: they spend way too much time looking at the height of the mountain and freaking out, rather than just putting their heads down and starting to climb!

    It's the best way to tackle a mountain, and it's the best way to tackle LC! ;)

    I would recommend you read books from your local library. You'll gain a better understanding in English and you will have much more ideas for essays and short stories. Even if you read only five pages a day just read 📖. Also take another look at exam paper question as a lot of the comparative questions can be repetitive. X
