I want to find fun, heart-pumping exercise that I can do at home.I have tried going to the gym and just found it boring. I am not into fitness and not aimimg to lose weight but my job involves sitting all day and I just think it would be healthier to do something active in the evenings, even if I could do something while watching tv it would be even better. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have thought about buying a mini trampoline. Anyone have any views on these?

Lots to choose from but IMO hiit circuits or tabatha style workouts are fun and fast - 15 mins and you're done.

Fitness DVD s, I really didn't think I'd like them but a previous housemate made me a copy years ago ( a Davina one). Great, keep you going longer than you would alone

My recommendation for something to do at home, in any room are resistance bands.

Google resistance band training, and there's lots of youtube clips too.

Focus T25 is good - its only 25 minutes per day. If you complete that and want more of a challenge - Insanity would fit.

Try the 7 minute work out.its an app that can be downloaded, repeat as much as you want. No equipment needed

My wife, who also finds the gym boring, does Davina McCall workouts (and some others too who I cannot recall) which are on youtube. She certainly is flagged out after them so they get you active anyway with zero extra equipment needed. This would seem ideal for you.

Anyone used a rebounder or trampoline? I love the idea of them .

Because this winter has been so cold and long I’m finding it much harder to get out after work than normal .

I’m fit enough and went for 3 runs in the evening last week so at least that got me moving! I also so yoga twice a week in a class. But I’m very interested in the rebounder thing , (while watching TV)

(Everyone mentioning DVDs but does that mean you all still all have DVD players or are you buying and downloading ?)
