    Had what I think was a bit of a breakthrough in the pool this week. Was in the lane next to a former Olympic swimmer who was lazily cruising up and down. I went full blown stalker on him and hung off the lane rope watching his stroke from every angle - as he was stroking slowly I could see everything clearly. The view from the side really clarified for me the whole EVF thing and it showed I think where I have been making some mistakes. When trying to mimic what he was doing I seemed to be getting an extra few seconds / holding pace with less effort so hopefully I can keep that up.

    Interesting. The power of visualising. I sometimes watch the Jono Van Hazel swimming clip before a swim and I definitely feel I become more efficient immediately after watching it.
