Thinking of selling my Volare. Has 10 speed 105, in good condition with Aksium wheelset. Just looking to see if there's any interest.

    Will add pics tomorrow

    €600

It's 2014. I've been using it as my winter bike. I'm hoping to get a new Volare so am selling both my bikes to finance it :)

I have bee debating buying a Volare. I currently commute on an equilibrium and love it.

From what I can google the 2014 54cm models had a seat tube 51cm (c -t)? The current size 54cm size L) model is 54cm (c-t). What height/inside leg are you?

Is this the 853 or 953 model?

I'll check when I get home but it's the 853. I love them, a pure joy to ride

Can you confirm the top tube length too (effective tt)?

Just measured my inside leg (inseam) and it's 32 inches (just over 81cm)

That's an absolute steal. I'd chop your hand off if I thought herself wouldn't do likewise to me. I've a Volare and an Equilibrium and they're by far and away the smoothest rolling bikes I've ever owned.

(I have no connection to the seller)

Cheers, I'd love to keep it but it's just not possible to have 2 bikes in the house as I refuse to lock them in the shed. I'm getting growls from herself as she refuses to listen to my very reasonable arguments :D

Thanks for the measurements. Was checking my Equilibrium –its S/49(c-t) so the M may be a tad big.p

Agree with the other poster: €600 is a steal for this! Good luck with the sale. A good bike should be kept inside lol!

I may push the button on a custom Columbus from Brendan in Kildare or splurge on a Ti!

Very interested too,. Is there a dent in the downtube or is it paint issue.

I'd need to realistically sell a bike to get this, (Ive three in the apartment and another in parents) but I do very much want one

There is a dent in the dowtube but being steel could be pulled out.

I was looking at Brendans new Carbon bikes! Imagination is going mad with custom paint options etc. So over the stealth look. Also looking at a Tifosi S26 frame, lovely paint jobs on them.

Such a lovely bike :) No interest (too small), but I send my hate to whoever gets it at this price!

    :pac:

I'm 5'11". My other bike is a 56cm and I found the Genesis perfect comfortwise

Cheers, I was initially worried that 54cm would be too small but it's perfect. If I get another Volore then it'll be a 54cm.

They really have a cult following, and now I know why, they are amazing

    :D...i like the sales technique

On a serious note what ratio cranks are on it looks like a compact? and what condition is it currently in?
Ive to buy a new winter bike to replace my warhorse and the one I picked wont be available until March....so im in two minds what to do.

Aye it is a compact, and I think 11-28 on the rear. It's in really good condition, a few scratches and a ding on the frame, but running perfectly. As you can see from feedback here, they're a much loved bike and you'd have no problem getting your money back in March if you decided to sell. The only reason I'm selling is that I can't keep two bikes in the house

No probs, I'm recovering from a dose for the past 6 weeks, not quite manflu strain but enough to knock me for six

I'd gladly hang it up on hooks above my fireplace and stare at it for hours.

I'll have to console myself with the knowledge that I'll be picking up a Colnago this weekend :)

i'm surprised it hasn't sold already. i was hoping it would have, would remove the temptation from me but i can't justify it at the moment. possibly slightly too big for me too.

My wife is giving me serious grief about having two bikes in the house. It's ultimatum time apparently

Isn't 2 bikes the minimum threshold, being a winter hacker and a good summer bike. I'm also guilty of having 4 bikes :)

    OK, 2 questions:

    1) How?

    2) Do your wives have any sisters :D

I'll offer €150 you can now officially say it's worth more to keep it than give it away for a paltry offer. Problemo solved :)

    1. New kitchen = 2 bikes
    2. Yep... but I got the best one by far.

I've tried bribery, logic, begging, no joy. I'd put it in the shed but my son and his mates use it as a party room and they forget to lock it. Would love t keep it
