Hi folks, just wondering where people get ideas for routines from? I started back in August for the first time in a few years and basically have been doing what I was given by an instructor when I was last in the gym. I'm just looking to change it up a bit, but I don't know if the Youtube heads are a good place to look!! Any pointers of sites or that would be great.

What is the goal? What was the routine you were doing?

If it's strength, have a read of this for some ideas:

What I'm really looking to do is get back in shape, all the weight I've put on is on my stomach and I'm aiming to lose that. I can be mad busy for work so I look to do a whole body work out because I just haven't the time to get in and target specific areas on set days if you get me.

Ok so what time do you have to train and how many times a week can you train?

What's your diet like? Thats the real key to shifting the weight and if you're busy at work, you'll need to be prepared.

As Alf said; it's all about your diet, get that on point and the results will come.
If you're looking for a quick effective workout to help with weight loss then something like the body coach's hiit routines are good.

I try to train three times a week, sometimes I only manage two. Still working on the diet, I think it's something that you can never stop improving to be honest.
