Honda Cub Clone... Best place to source...

    I'm looking for some direction,

I've always had a Honda 50/90 cub for the odd charity run during the year. I also hold a multi-bike insurance policy so it costs very little to insure and keep on the road. I sold my last C90 in Aug '17 to a friend who wanted to get involved. I'm after going to the market trying to source a Honda Cub but the pricing is off the wall.

I'm not worried about perception or brand so I've started to look at some Super Cub clones. What a lot of bike you get for your money! I know many Chinese bike haters on here will explain the poor quality, rust etc but this is a bike that will do circa 100km per year, cleaned after each use and then stored in a heated garage.

Is it possible to buy a bike for a Chinese provider and have it delivered in a crate to Ireland? I'm trying to figure out if this is possible and where to go to source.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Would they come with a certificate of conformity I wonder?

I saw a large number of Chinese Cub clones in Greece. It might be worth your time to see if you could purchase one there , secondhand. ( or even new). They would have EU compliance certification so it might make the paper work easier.

However, I did notice that a lot of the new Cub clones were 100cc or 125cc. Would this invalidate them for your use on charity runs?
