Obviously they are taxed in the team's home state because they play half their games there and train there.

But they're not always resident in the team's home state. Jets and Giants players living in NYC train and play home games in New Jersey.

If that case they would pay non-resident tax to New Jersey.
Same deal, you pay state tax where it’s earned, not where you live.

Yes but the earned part of it is x/365 in New Jersey, x/365 wherever else you play/train and the remainder/365 where you are normally resident, no?

No they are taxed where they work, where they are resident gets nothing from them, unless there is an agreement between the two states but only one state can get money from them.

No, it’s based on games not days.
They play 16 games, and get 16 checks per year. State tax is paid (or not paid) on each check based on the game location.

Same way a fighter who fights in NYC pays tax on his full purse to NY and not what fraction of days he’s there.

Any fights to watch for tomorrow night?

Poirier vs Hooker just announced for June 27th.

I fancy Poirier for that one. Should be a great fight.

Where is it happening? If its the Apex then I don't give Hooker much of a chance.

One FC secured 70m in funding and let go of 20% staff. All announced in the same press release, surely the PR staff must have been included in the 20% to do that :pac:

Very strange organization, lost a ball of money last year too.

That was before he found jiu jitsu and morphed into his final form.

He was powerlifting and working as a bouncer in New York before jiu jitsu. So probably on the same as other bouncers are powerlifter.

Post above that it was the 80s, so everything probably accurate then!

1991 I think, if he was 23 in the photo.
Still, probably on all of the things.

    What a great pic!

That's something I'd love to have hanging up in my place if it
    could be got somewhere.
