Part Time Graphic Design/Visual Communication Courses Dublin

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone can recommend any part time or evenjng courses in graphic design/viscom/digital media in the Dublin area.

Im 26 years old and have a foundation level Art & Design and left LSAD Visual Communications mid 2nd year about 2 years ago because of circumstances at the time (basically not because I wanted to) and it’s not viable for me to go back as I live elsewhere now and I don’t think I could go back to full time.

However, I’m moreso interested in building up a portfolio - I have been working freelance the past few years but only bits and bobs and not the kind of material that would be up to par for me to showcase in a portfolio. I have experience in this line of work and most courses seem to be moreso introductory courses to graphic design and tailored specifically for beginners.

I’m of the understanding that a lot of these courses would be geared towards beginners and so I don’t mind if there are elements of the course that are at this level but I’m wondering if anyone could recommend a college or course that would be more suited to what it is I am looking for. NCAD seem to offer a variety of classes but I am also trying to keep my options open and I would gladly welcome any recommendations from anyone who might be familiar with this line of study.

Greetings,

The only part time diploma/ degree in graphic design is Dublin institute of design in city center.
Exemptions can be made for previous experience and you could pick up where you keft off.
