HI I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am 56 and on invalidity for the last couple of years, I worked all my life but became very unwell a couple of years ago, my mental health took a dive. Even though I am not working I am very busy minding elderly relatives etc... I dont get carers because if relative knew I was getting paid I would never get a break. I would like to work part time, just to get out I really wouldnt be able for any more. But I am afraid if I apply for partial capacity benefit I will be assessed and deemed fit for work and invalidity taken off me... can anyone advise please.
    Thanks in advance :)
I know my doctor would give me a strong letter.
