New Golf GTI or R in 2019 hopefully. Perhaps an S3 if I break the bank!

Nice. I'd go m140i if I was in that market but I would say there are a bit dear compared to the VW stables

Not sure of specific make/model, but I suspect an electric sometime next year.

The plan is a 430D Gran Coupe hopefully before diesels start getting taxed out of existence.

Toying with the idea of a Laguna Coupe or a 123d

Probably a 2000 s280 belonging to a cousin. If the insurance rides me I have my eye on e39s just to scratch the itch.If I panic It will be a Volvo S80 that I didn't check out properly.

Reality will probably be a 500 quid focus when this one sh*ts itself.

Just bought the 325 so nothing in mind yet. Maybe one of those new Alpine A110s a few years down the line...

My current company car will be written off the books in 2020. If the bik on electric cars remains favourable, I'll go for a model 3.

A volvo our Audi estate, or if situation changes something with 7 seats again. Dog and kid etc

    Could end up in anything.

Hopefully in the usual €500 bracket, most likely another Avensis

All going to plan an e92 m3 but realistically with real life in the way for the next while it'll be late next year at the soonest.

When my '99 Camry eventually dies (hopefully not for a good few more years), I plan on buying another, albeit newer, one.

I'm definitely not planning to change from the current motor for at least another 4 years or so minimum. Plus I'm not in a company car position, nor can I afford a nice new car. If I were to change car, I'd like to go for the V8 diesel Q7 from the first generation. It ticks more boxes than almost any other car for my needs and desires, in one car. Either that or a biturbo diesel A6 estate.

If I had a lottery win in the morning, I'd have an SQ7 on order as a replacement daily driver, and a 911 Turbo S as the weekend/holiday car..

I've had a 2011 Touareg for over 3 years, I really can't fault it and smile every time I jump into it.
In the next couple of years I will look to change to another 3 year old one, just for for a few extra gadgets.

For some reason I like the look of the new VW UP! GTi. My current daily drive is running fine but is getting a bit long in the tooth

I think that needs more power; 0-60 times don’t mean a lot but 8.8 seconds is slow for something with pocket rocket aspirations.

With weddings, babies and houses taking over my life in the last few years, my interest in cars has fallen off a cliff. My current car is a 07 1.6 Mazda 3 and I've become that boring over recent years that I actually really like it. Only 52k miles on too so all going well we'll be in the era of hover cars by the time I'm looking again.

I haven't decided the car yet, but Automatic, Petrol, Estate is my main criteria, probably in 2019.

Something small cheap and cheerful. My current car is a 2002 fiesta bought for 600 euro 2 year ago and still just about drivable. An old polo or yaris something like that.

Depending how long I hold onto the 330d and if things go the way I'm working towards - BMW 440i or M4.

    Has your mileage reduced lately?

I'm starting to get to the point where the e46 is getting a bit old. It's still reliable, but rust is starting to become a problem on the body and I suspect it will need some decent work to keep it going. So I'm considering my options. I'd have an e91 touring with a straight 6. But they're rare, and it'd have to be an M-Sport. I'd be tempted by an e90 too. But then I'd also be interested in a Golf GTI. All ideally in the under 5k bracket, maybe even cheaper.

I never needed a diesel for mileage reasons although when I first got it I was doing a lot of long distance driving as part of squash teams. My reason for buying the 330d was that I wanted a newer car with low mileage, comfort and power that wouldn't be an absolute charade to insure. It's my first diesel and I love it but the hankering to go back to a petrol engine that roars has always been there :D

When I bought the car in September 2015 it had c. 25,000 km on it. It recently hit 49,000 km so that'll give you an idea of the mileage I do. Some of it was a blast on the motorway or a long drive once every 2 weeks to keep the DPF healthy.

With all the want for my next car I will have a mortgage starting in January so that will take precedence for the time being.

i recently bought a 08 Saab 93 1.9 (150) and the only reason i bought it was because there wern't many good petrol's around for my budget. My next car will certainly be a petrol saloon of some sort, possibly BMW 318 or something along those lines. Something that doesn't cost an arm and leg to tax and insure but has decent power

Hyundai ix35 or Kia sportage 5 years or so old. Need it for baby on the way (and with 3 dogs).the 3 door astra isn't going to work unfortunately 😀.

Never saw myself in an SUV until we got upgraded from a corsa to a seat ateca in Spain earlier this year and I loved it. Plus we moved a bit further out into the countryside.

Probably a well specified automatic compact class car e.g. Focus/Astra/Leon as a company car for about 50 to 55 euro per week/200 to 220 per month deduction from salary including all expenses including BIK, Fuel, insurance/maintenance,etc...

I think deep down I knew that was true :(

It's not easy wanting a 200+bhp petrol in this country!

You could pick up a 6 speed (231 bhp) RX8 within budget.

A Diesel A6 Estate (Bi-turbo If I can persuade the wife) or a 530D Estate

Superb Sportline 2.0 TDI just ordered - rolling over PCP and trading in a 151 Superb

Would be v keen on a Cupra 300 but couldn’t afford the petrol or Tyre bill at the moment, maybe next time round

At the moment I'm not too sure of what to go for. One half is thinking a new Leon Cupra as I want to back to petrol, no bigger than the Leon I have and to something with lots of power. Then, the other half is thinking something small, normally aspirated and great fun to chuck down a road, like the Swift Sport, old RenaultSport Clio, etc

No timeframe for the change has been decided yet.

    Ah decisions, decisions............

Changed my car at the beginning of this year so have another 3 or 4 years remaining before I consider changing but I know i'll have problems finding something as I refuse to buy diesel and so petrol will be the only option. I got my current car from the UK but in 4 years time with Brexit, god only knows what or how importing from the UK will be at that stage. I wont be buying new, never have and don't think I ever will, I usually go for 5-7yr old cars so looking at what 2 or 3 yr old cars around at the moment leaves me very lost as to what to get. If its still viable to import from the UK then I could see myself looking at a Subaru Levorg or possibly another Mazda 6 (163bhp petrol model)

I am still very happy with my baby cupra and who knows what will be out in 2.5 years when my pcp is out.

Plan was and still is to buy it out in the end, but I was really druling at the idea of new ibiza cupra, but so far Seat has no plans of doing one. Polo Gti will be pretty much same for more money and less extras, thats of course if Vw ireland will even offer the damn thing.

Another idea I have to trade for few years old Leon cupra when time comes, but dont know if dealer will offer me a good deal trading in pcp car for second hand.

192hp is great, but I got a bug to have more under the hood already. The other issue I have that I hate diesels and petrol selection got a bit better, but its still very limited for me.

Currently thinking it will be an E60 530i lci m-sport, other option is an E92 330i M-Sport. Leaning more towards the 5 series at the moment but that could change. A tidy e46 would tempt me, preferably a 330ci, m3 is an option but I'm unsure how brave I am, and a 4 series grand coupe is somewhere in my head too but finding an petrol one isn't easy. Then I go mad and start thinking about a Porsche Cayman or a 996. It's not an easy decision to make!
