    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to convert / use One4all vouchers on amazon.co.uk?

I did a search and found this link:

    https://www.one4all.ie/retailer/spend-online/amazon-ie.html

    But it doesn't work anymore.

Anyone got a step by step guide anywhere?

You could up to a few months ago but yeah it looks like amazon are no longer listed as a retailer on the One4all website.
The One4all cards are becoming more worthless each year with more and more retailers removing support for them.

You should find a retailer that sells Amazon Vouchers(like the way Tesco sell vouchers but don't take the One4All) and use your voucher to buy an Amazon voucher and at least you're shot of the Voucher OR find somebody who will take it off of you.

I bought One4All vouchers off 4 of my friends 2 years ago because my Travel agent took them.

Are there any retailers who sell amazon vouchers and also take the one4all cards? It'd sicken me to lose the 8% getting a v+ card just to make it usable.

Apparently you can send One4All Vouchers back and get money instead from them.

hello there. I've just successfully placed an order on amazon.co.uk by adding my one4all voucher as a new card and using my home address as my billing address. I just received the confirmation of order number by email etc. So I'm guessing it works as a visa debit type card.

They will take the order but normaly fails when they go to charge the card which is done just before sending, if it sends happy days though :)

I did the exact thing last week with a new one4allvoucher that I was given by work for Christmas. The order did go through ok and got the confirmation email, but the next day got a follow-up email saying that the card had been declined. All the card details were correct, so I don't think that it'll work that way.

They put normally €1/£1 onto your card as a hold first to ensure you have an active payment source but those cards don't come with "Pending" functions where money can be held in escrow like that so they're bound to fail.

I did the same but you will get an email saying it's been cancelled. It is very frustrating as I used One 4 All on. Amazon last year
To repeat another poster, does anyone know f you can buy a physical Amazon voucher anywhere?

Still only available to UK customers. Very frustrating!

Just an update. I contacted One4All and they agreed to pay back the value of my vouchers in to my bank account. So I'm happy enough with that. They didn't have to at all so I appreciate the gesture.

Is it that easy??? just call them and tell them to transfer the money into your account???

That's what I did yeah. They will ask for the card numbers and it took a few weeks for them to transfer the money but they did it.
I had contacted them, I think by email actually so didn't even have to phone them. Now I did say that the vouchers were bought on the understanding that they could be used with Amazon and that One4All had not made it clear that this could no longer be done.
They made out that they would refund me as a good will gesture. So it's probably not something they have to do, but make enough of a stink and they will.
    Worked for me anyway.

I've found a bit of a work around for this issue. You can use you all4one vouchers in Tesco to buy Amazon gift cards in various denominations.

They're a fixed cost (eg. €120 for a £100 voucher) so it's generally a little worse than the exchange rate, but it's better than nothing.

But Tesco don't take One4all vouchers...

Damn, you're right. Thought I saw them on the list... there must be some other way around it that doesn't take a chunk of the cash!

The best thing would be to contact one4all to get them to refund the voucher. Can you buy Amazon gift vouchers in Tesco? I wanted to get the Physical Amazon giftcard for a Christmas goift last year and I didn't see them anywhere here in-store so bought it online and printed off the code; I was too late for to get the p[hysical card shipped on time. As they are denominated in Sterling I guess they can't be sold in Euros.

Well you haven't found a workaround Alan. If you go back just one page on this very thread, you will see this avenue has already been gone down. Just one page back.

Thanks for taking the time to not read the rest of the thread either yourself. L1011 very kindly pointed out my mistake already, which I acknowledged.. and we all moved on.

Perhaps you could contribute something constructive to this conversation and suggest ways around the issue Mr. Hughes? You're clearly interested enough to comment.

I already have contributed, twice with practical, real advice. If you had read the thread, you'd have seen that Alan. I did read the thread and saw that you'd been corrected. However, I thought it was important to point out your laziness.
I will now 'move on' too Alan.

There is never going to be a workaround basically.

If it isn't a Small Gift Exemption voucher you can get it refunded as a cheque with a fee charged.

If it is a Small Gift Exemption voucher, you can't (although it may be worth asking, if the purchaser never told them it was SGE. But you will be liable for tax/USC/PRSI if found out). And the list of accepting retailers is falling apart. Ask your employer to consider prepaid credit cards in future, or at absolute worst FromMe2You vouchers which are vastly more accepted than One4all - both options still meant the Small Gifts Exemption.

You can use them on Littlewoods. I had a number of small value ones, bought something from littlewoods on Credit, immediately used the one4all vouchers to pay down the amount and then cleared the balance with my credit card. Littlewoods usually have 10-20% codes knocking about too. Only catch is the minimum you can pay off at a time is €10 so the one4all voucher must be at least that.

I see Spar in UK are listed as selling Amazon cards... any one know any spars in Dublin that sell Amazon cards? Some Spars seem to accept OneForAll anyway...

Call up one4all and I think you can redeem it for cash instead.

That is provided you didn't get it from your employer as a tax free bonus. Employers can pay up to €500 per year of a bonus tax free to employees but you have to use the voucher to purchase goods/services.
