Sony Android TV + Alexa

    New to home automation and having a bit of challenge.

    I bought the Sony Bravia XE80 along with an Alexa Echo (2017)

    In the UK and US market the Sony TV can be controlled by Alexa, but in Ireland it cannot. I was wondering if anyone had this problem, and if so had any success in using a VPN or something to get the correct firmware on the TV to Alexa control it.
