    Teams:

    Liverpool

Five changes for each side at Anfield from the midweek Champions League exploits.

Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain start for Liverpool, with Simon Mignolet, James Milner and Joel Matip also coming in.

    Chelsea:

Danny Drinkwater makes his first league start for Chelsea and there's starting returns for Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen. David Luiz is on the bench.

Let's count how many times hazard throws himself to the ground.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,908 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

He cost a good Doc her job doing that, and then refused to perform for Jose after the fallout.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,908 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Gerrard would have taken Hazard out there, Coutinho just let him by.

It'd be boring if we were just posting in the Liverpool or Chelsea thread etc. The beauty of the match threads is it brings in all fans.

    And Mick. :p

Hazard is really good at it though. He actually throws himself at the player to instigate the contact and then falls. It's actually impressive.

Chelsea appear confident, few weaknesses if any.

Milner should be sliding Salah in there

No wonder Klopp is annoyed. Milner, you donkey

Horrible feeling Sturridge is gonna break my heart today with lazy runs and poor finishing :-/

Especially after Firmino getting on the scoresheet midweek was one of the bright sparks.

We just don't have that dynamism up front. Good to see Lallana back.

Dammit, another potentialy quick corner break, and it's unfortunately the slow Sturridge who ends up with the ball at his feet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,908 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Moreno again, just diving in. Lucky it was our throw,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Matip is so slow on the turn, moves in slow motion. And Milner has been poor in poccession a few times

    Great from Mignolet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,596 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Brililant stuff from Mig - Chelsea should be 1-0 up.

He was surrounded in no space and won a freekick.

Can practically see the PTSD flash before the Liverpool player's eyes at every corner.

He did as well as he could do. He didn't do anything wrong. But if someone with pace had gotten it instead, they had a lot of clear space to run into.
