Attendance in first year

Hey, quick question about attendance for anyone who's not a first year. Some of my modules say that there is a cap at 35% of your grade if your attendance drops below 70%. Can anyone confirm if this is strictly enforced? I'm doing fairly well assessment wise and get everything in on time but I have missed a fair few…

Hey,
quick question about attendance for anyone who's not a first year. Some of my modules say that there is a cap at 35% of your grade if your attendance drops below 70%.
Can anyone confirm if this is strictly enforced? I'm doing fairly well assessment wise and get everything in on time but I have missed a fair few classes for a number of reasons (family and work commitments), but none of which I have a medical cert for.
