At least he spent many years behind bars for his crimes. Death was too easy a way out.
Usually when someone dies Id say RIP. In this case, .........

A nasty piece of work no doubt but his conviction was a miscarriage of justice.

Unlike Al I don't believe his followers rolled over in stitches laughing every time he said B****x or 'ride'.

Roman Polanski will be delighted to hear the news. Manson had Polanski's wife brutally murdered back in 1969.

Polanski also drugged and raped a child so they'll probably get to catch up with eachother.

    Polanski didn't brutally murder anyone.

Evil piece of s**t who had others do his dirty work for him. He should have died a long time ago.

Manson more than likely killed a few people. Just wasn't caught.

If you played some of his music to someone and didn't tell them who he was there's a good chance they'd think it was pretty good.

Vincent Bugliosi's book, Helter Skelter is worth a read about Manson , his family and the trial.

At a stretch you could imagine he would sound a bit like the band Love, who made not dissimilar sounding music (check out "Forever Changes" from 1967).

How different history could've been if Terry Melcher hadn't turned him down. Neil Young and also Dennis Wilson from the Beach Boys were among Manson's musical supporters.

He was a bit nutso though. To think every moment of the White Album was about him (saying that, he wasn't the only Beatles nut in the world. See the hippy guy found in John Lennon's garden in the Imagine movie, who thought that "Carry That Weight" was about him).

    I know what it means.

I'm questioning why it is being wished on such a evil person.

This interview is very telling I think, particularly the last 3 mins or so once the interview has finished.

Obama and Bush and Blair have all killed more people than Manson. Yet people would fawn over Obama is he were to grace Ireland with his presence.

We should have a Charles Manson Plaza somewhere.

Change The Red Cow to "The Susan Atkins".

That's not even close to a logical comparison. Name the last leader of a world power that isn't responsible for people dieing? Micheal Collins and Eamon DeValera aslo killed more people than Manson I guess they're just as bad too?
