    Hi all.

So I'm looking to buy an 2010 astra tomorrow. Just did got the cartell report. Says 2 owners 1st was dealer (6 years) 2nd owners (seller). So cartell said it cleared of hire purchase. My question is why is the dealer coming up as 1st owner for 6 years when the seller bought it from new even though he bought it hire purchase. Is this normal?
    Thanks

Because you don't own the car until the final payment is made under HP.

The lease means that you have an insurable interest.

Every driver has insurable interest in third party liability cover. Please stop repeating this nonsense...

Ok so the dealer being the first owner for 6 years is ok if under hire purchase this is correct?
