Is it true I have to go low carb to see my abs?

    This is the general consensus on youtube. Some people advocate 40/40/20 protein, carbs, fat. I think this is possible. Eliminating all carbs is impossible.

    No, you just have to lose enough body fat to make them visible.

    Lose body fat to see abs. Some people find a zero carb approach easier to follow to reduce calorie intake. Some people so it another way.

    Any diet/protocol for weight loss is essentially based on calorie control. Not the relative quantities of protein/carbs/fat.

    I've used 40 40 20 in the past with great success BUT I think most of the benefit for me came from the close tracking I used to monitor it. I do think it's a benefit but mainly because you're so much more aware of what you're eating.
