    is this the release notes for security update? 3.10.79?
    i had installed 3.10.79 couple of weeks back by downloading from the uk site

    The app appeared on my home screen after the latest update but alas after following all the instructions the echo will not find the TV. Has anyone managed to get this working?
    I'm thinking I may have to factory reset the TV as with the messing around side loading the APK file in the past it may have screwed something up. Fighting me to the bitter end this.

    Works fine for me. Can get it to turn on, off, change input, change volume etc. Very very happy in fact.

    Mine worked fine. Its frees up a smart plug now :-)

    I just got a new LG TV in Power City. It claims Alexa support. But when I try to set it up the TV says feature not suppprted in my region (Ireland).

    I’ve been emailing LG UK support. They were very nice about it but say it’s a Amazon restriction and it’s same problem for all TVs. Spooked to be available in future but nobody knows when.

    I’m trying to figure out more, it’s hard to contact Amazon on this topic.

    Try setting it to UK in the tv settings and set up Amazon on a UK address like your parcel motel UK address might work
