Cat repellant

Can anyone recommend a good cat repeller, preferably solar powered, that actually works and doesn't cost the earth? Bought one off Amazon for 30 euro - totally useless Sick of them messing everywhere (the cat owner neighbour thinks the more they breed they better - she's old so I forgive her the company they must provide)…

Sick of them messing everywhere (the cat owner neighbour thinks the more they breed they better - she's old so I forgive her the company they must provide) - I drown them when I catch them but they're sneaky and come around at night as well
