    Stupid question, but I just got a new phone and I've noticed that when I sign in to Google Play, I'm then signed into Gmail, maps etc automatically. Is there any way I can just sign in to Google Play and stop it from auto-signing me in to all the other Google apps? On my previous phone my apps weren't sync'd like this.

    Yes, I sign out of all other google apps too. I manually go into YouTube, Maps etc and sign out.

    Not sure if there's an easier or automatic way of doing it.

    settings - accounts - google - set the various services to do not sync.
