Already seeing big jumps in Altcoin prices. Will this continue or will they drop back with the BTC price post fork? That's the big question.

how do I dump my BTG?
As far as I can see, there is no way to do so, because there is no Bitcoin Gold wallet available anywhere yet. If there was a wallet, you could split your BTC and BTG by sending the BTC to a new address and sending the remaining BTG to a BTG wallet. But this is a highly risky procedure due to lack of Replay Protection in the BTG code.
Although I too would like to dump my newly-acquired BTG, I'm prepared to wait for a few days until the dust settles. The price of BTG will probably tank in the interim, but I'm not prepared to risk losing all my BTC.

Just an FYI for those of you with Ledger hardware wallets. You can now claim your BTG on the device itself using this guide.

    https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005456969-How-to-use-Bitcoin-Gold-with-Ledger

Was pretty quick, only things that got me were where to find the BTG Split Tool
    Here's a screengrab....
    https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comments/7dm5x2/btg_split_tool_you_need_to_click_here/

Then when it's claimed it'll be in the Segwit/Split or Ledger/Split chain. You need to transfer this to your wallet to get it to stay there or else it doesn't show up. Just get your receiving address from the Receive button in your Segwit (or Legacy) BTG wallet, note it will show 0 as the balance in those wallets until you transfer. Then go back to the split tool and re run, when done click send to send the funds to the address you just copied. Went very quickly for me. Now its permanently in my ledgers BTG wallet.

Some altcoins. ETH and LTC took a fair drop and are only recovering now. Great news for me, but a fair few hodlers panicked.
