Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't quite figure out if this is a good game or not.
    It's awful

How did Murray get away with that?

    How would you know?

    It's awful

The rugby is fairly turgid alright, but as a game it's petty interesting.

Both teams playing almost exactly the same type of rugby, not exactly well. At some stage, something will stick for one of them and we might see a score.

Physicality is top notch. Execution of skills is dire.

Doyle has been very good today

It's a fair scrap of a game. I think Munster would should just take the 3 points when they come on offer.

He generally is to be fair to him. Aside from a few moments like the 'Chillax' incident he is deservedly well rated imo.

Not exactly consistently flashy stuff, but brilliantly physical.

Reminds of that very famous Irish team of the 2000s: Michael Cheika's Leinster.

Racing will be disppointed at not getting a couple of penalties in kicking range, Like Murray blatantly kicking the ball in the ruck and that no arm tackle, but I definitely like him. Very good communication.

Why are there so many elderly women in the crowd?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,147 ✭✭✭OldRio

Well for a Nil nil this is utterly absorbing.

I'm waiting for the commetators to use the term 'arm wrestle' in relation to this game. It's an odd one.

CJ has a huge elderly following.

Hopefully we score in 2nd half and go on to win it

    Blur
The Murray quick tap should have been a kick for 3. The others I understand why we went for the corner but that was a gimmie.

    Murray loves GILFs

Ah pity. That would have been a stunner.

That being said, a regular pass was on and would have sufficed.

Ah pity. That would have been a stunner.

It looked class but he could possibly have just passed it normally

Would have been a stunning try. Pity Earls couldn't hold it.

The regular pass was on if he had given it straight away, the pause before the pass maybe meant he had to go for the fancy move.

I think Doyle signalled that it was a forward pass.

What's the longest a European level rugby game has gone without a score. This is becoming astounding for completely the wrong reasons.

Totally agree. As bad as POM looked I'm glad he and the medics decided to continue, I guess sometimes these things can be shaken off.

Yep. A simple pass and Earls was away.

This must be what pre pre-season games look like.

    Conditions making it worse!

Indeed, as I said the normal pass was on and would have been a far safer option. Pity.

Martin O Neill will be advising Munster to get behind the ball now and sit tight on that hard earned lead. Keep it tight and see it off.

That's crazy harsh. Looked like a Munster player stopping it coming back.

Parisiens are going mad. Obvious complaint is that its an Irish ref for an Irish team in Ireland :pac:
