lumia 520 won't remember searches

lumia 520 won't remember searches any more. the search page is google.ie Before if i typed boards.ie lumia phones and closed the browser, next time i started with the b of boards it would auto complete and there was a link to delete the search history. I do not know what i did but it does not work any more windows phone…
