Joining gym in fortnights time after 3 years of doing practically nothing. I swim in the sea every summer and have no bother doing 3-4 k . I need to lose weight and tone up. I would like to do the glen da lough open water swim next year. I have done a few triathlons in the past so know the committment needed but was looking maybe for some advice or links to swimming and weight training plans. Thanks in advance.

Probably easiest to treat them as separate plans. I don't plans that combine the two and can't think of a reason why or how they would
