as it says, I normally do 39 but that's all I'm contracted for, but there are other I've worked with previously who would blast their hours through the roof. I'm genuinely shocked at the long hours some people work. I hope it's purely temporary with most of you. Your job should never take over your life, or become your home, family and hobby. That is a route towards an unhealthy and stressful life.

As an accountant I have been on salary for years, but I am currently in a contract role and getting paid hourly, so I am milking the hell out of it and doing about 55-60 a week
