I work in the medical device industry where makeup isn't allowed on the shop floor and I get to see some women who really are crackers without makeup. Then Christmas parties come around and christ above they all look cat.....just saying

And Lisa Bonet is married to a stone-cold ridebag, Khal
Drogo from Game of Thrones. Sweet jesus.

The DNA thing is so strange. Lisa Bonet was, IMO, pure sultry gorgeousness in her heyday, yet her daughter is a pretty girl and that's about it.

(As an aside, that husband of hers does absolutely nothing for me in hotness terms. It's like looking at Fabio or something. Chiselled, but boring. Different tastes! I've always had a penchant for Guy Pearce over Gerard Butler type of thing, John Malkovich over Bruce Willis etc.)

Ooh, can I be your spokeswoman Spider Web?

I'll be all "Spider Web was grossly misquoted in your publication and we will be taking all steps necessary to reclaim his/her good name and standing"

I bring my own podium and have have a wide range of extremely fierce business suits!

I usually don't go for musclebound types. He's very much an exception. It's his face rather than his body for me. Brooding. My taste is unusual and varied. For example, I LOVE Peter Saarsgard.

    Peter Sarsgaard - now you're talking! :D

Ok, time to stop now with this line of dialogue as it doesn't really belong with the thread topic... :D

Home and Away is great for stunning women! Haven't watched in a while now but they had the likes of Isabel Lucas, Samara Weaving, Indiana Evans, Demi Harman most of which have gone on to be in large Hollywood productions since. And of course who could forget Isla Fisher.

Also Adrienne Koleszar can arrest me any time!

    Yep, proper woman.
I really don't like this "proper/real woman" stuff. Usually applied to women with more meat on the bone and mostly as an advertising thing to sell stuff. For a start, yes yer wan mentioned is large for a model, but she also has proportions that would be just as hard to find in the general population as the usual sized models. An hourglass figure with a thin waist like hers is rare enough. Add in her very pretty face and you go even rarer again.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

spider web why don't you take your misery somewhere else.
Bizarre defensiveness. Women make nitpicky comments about women's appearances too. It's not an anti man thing to comment on when people pass remarks on someone having the cheek to look less than perfect.

    The two posts in question:

I love the "her leg doesn't look great", "she has a big arse" type comments in relation to women who are beauties. Ah anonymous internet studs.

But as above, I think Michelle Pfeiffer in her hey day is probably the most beautiful famous woman ever.

You're reading what you want now CSG - nowhere did I even imply that.

I am talking about a handful of folks that pick faults in these beautiful women's appearances- how on earth did you get "she has a problem with men finding women attractive" in that?
If anything it seems like they're looking for a way NOT to find certain women attractive!

Pretty low bar as to what constitutes "worked up".

There is a picture of one of the Seoige (sp) sisters from years ago somewhere on these boards, and she looks amazing in it.
