Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HSE cannot afford new Maternity Hospital

It appears that the new Maternity Hospital to be sited at St Vincents University Hospital is beyond the means open to the HSE.

The New Children's Hospital is running into trouble, not just with the cost, but the locals are running to the High Court looking for compo.

The cost of the Children's Hospital is over €1 billion - the most expensive children's hospital (per bed) in the world. Why do infrastructure projects cost multiples of the costs in other EU states.

Can we get the costs of these projects under control?
