Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ross Byrne has been underwhelming again. Seems to be taking all the pace of things. Great kick there though.

Tg4 live player up and going for the second half! Bout time...

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Good start to the half, but that was easy.

    This is more like it!

    G'man ROL

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Could he have not played advantage there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    Good thinking by Luke there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    Ross Byrne murders pace.

    Nice try, Conan

    And that's probably that.

    Shocking defense

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    They are so bad.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,232 ✭✭✭DGRulz

Someone needs to add that clip of Conan walking away in slow motion and winking to the Conan gif collection.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Conan 1 on 1 with a scrumhalf. Only one winner there tbf.

We look better playing fast, direct rugby with our forwards. We lost ground in those few phases before the try where we tried to play in behind with the backs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Was that not backwards off ROL and so advantage could have been played again?

  • Registered Users Posts: 103 ✭✭determinations

That was a lovely little kick from Byrne.

Jayses. Did anyone in the Pro 12 do some quality control on these two saffer teams before signing them in ? Raising the standard ? Risks more like making the Pro 14 a laughing stock and increasing its 3rd class citizen reputation re Top 14 and Prem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,279 ✭✭✭ongarite

Way too easy, awful man on man tackling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Good man Joey.

Decent try there. Strong carrying from the forwards to get over the gain line.

I think the long game of getting all 6 SA sides in is at play

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

    Clear knock on.

Shocking miss. Leinster should have been cute and gone through a couple of phases

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,920 ✭✭✭✭stephen_n

Knock on and Healy knew it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Came forward from Healy surely.

    He'd given up on that.

John Smit was floating the idea of rotating the SA teams in the Pro14....2 different SA teams every 2 years. Think he's still CEO of the Sharks

Not a flyer, but shows they all want to move up to Europe eventually

500k a year extra per existing Pro 12 side makes it very worthwhile.

How many players did these guys lose from super rugby?

They beat the Sharks this year. Standard in SA dropping.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Carbery finished that well though. Decent start to the season for him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Eh, what was the issue with Healys bind there?

Zero wrong with Healy's bind there.

There seems to be suggestions that the Sharks want to move North and that would be back it up. Getting them into the league would be a major coup.

Well that's a bloody terrible start from Mick Kearney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

There were two of them in that.

He got himself out of the way and the ball was available. Some very questionable calls in the last few mins. How was Larmour penalised for doing the exact same thing the Kings player did to him!?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Kings player clearly in the side at a previous ruck there. This is getting ridiculous.

    3,011 attendance :D

    Mighty defense

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Including cameramen, commentators, players and support staff.

    3,011 attendance :D

Must include the season ticket holders who are gone shopping with the better halves.

And the 700 people on a Jumbo Jet flying over head at the exact moment they counted.

    Marsh made that.

Man, these guys are poor. Its hard to believe they are even professionals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Daycent try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,416 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

This is almost like watching the usa play years ago. All enthusiasm but at times it's almost farcical. Dropping the ball under no pressure, kicking it off your own man, ****ting the bed in attack...

That being said it's really days for them so we'll see how it goes long term.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

That is truly pathetic from the TMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,223 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

What are they looking for here?

    Probably more accurate

I don't even believe half that number of tickets were sold... Unless there's some dirt cheap deal on
