Analog, Dell, Stryker, Northern Trust are a few off the top of my head. Limerick City and County Council, University of Limerick and Revenue as well but not sure if you're looking for private.

    700ish

Stryker & Wyeth would have way more than 200 I would imagine.
Also would be right up there in terms of salary, fringe benefits etc,.

    Analog - 1100
    Vistakon - 1000
    Dell - 900
    Cook - 800

Regeneron has about 500 I think.

It's a very interesting list. Would be good to see who the big public serctor employers are too.

    HSE
    Office of the Revenue Commissioners
    Limerick City & County Council
Department of Education (I think they pay UL wages and most school teachers?)
    Irish Aid

Any others? Any idea of the figures for the above?

Virgin Media has about 400-500 in LEDP. Some working for a third party but under the VM name.

Dunnes, Lidl, Tesco, Aldi, SuperValu would all surely have high staffing numbers. Each have multiple stores throughout the city.

    Dunnes 4 stores
    Lidl 3 stores
Tesco 4 stores (one an express)
    Aldi 2 stores
    SuperValu 2?

Tesco has 5 if you're including the express (which is in Clare!). Roxboro, Dooradoyle, Arthur's Quay and Coonagh being the main stores.

Brown Thomas and Debenhams would be quite large employers but a lot of their staff are hired through concessions

Forgot about the Roxboro one even though it is currently the closest one to where I'm living.

A listing of the companies that are top payers + fringe benefits would be good.
Some companies have a large workforce but are not great to pay.

    Astalgau GMBH - 250.
Where are these based? What do they do?
Amazing the companies that employ decent numbers of people that you just don't hear of. Take Glass Lewis for example, I'm not sure many people outside the finance sector would know of them

If even the finance sector, its a pretty niche market they operate in

Vistakon has over 1600 people working there now. Employees and contractors combined
