The survey asked people who lived there to rank the city out of ten in the following areas: Sexually Active, Sexual Experimentation, Sexually Satisfied, Sex Toy Consumption, Porn Consumption, Adult Entertainment, Swinger Score, Access To Contraception, LGBT Friendliness and Gender Equality.

Corkonians the least sexy in the world.

We've always knew that there wasn't much going on in Cork, now we've got the confirmation...

If Islamic terrorists do decide to target Ireland, hopefully the joe.ie offices will be the first place they choose.

    Doesn't surprise me.

    Doesn't surprise me.
Have never met as many people from the one place with such a sense of superiority based on absolutely nothing but being from that place.

In truth, it's probably a massive inferiority complex.

All this proves is that Corkonians are the most humble about their sex lives.

Something tells me that wasn't in reference to anything in the trousers.

Something tells me they're trying to stir up a PR story to get people to download their app.

Cork's one of the smallest cities they've listed and they gave it terrible scores for things like LGBT friendliness which is just not remotely reflective of reality in the ground.

Also cities like Antwerp rate poorly, which doesn't reflect reality at all.

Cities like Graz, also one of the smaller ones, doesn't rate well either.

Also the ISP based information about city locations doesn't even work as IP locations are often totally inaccurate.

Their methodology seems to favour very large cities and cities with open red light district basically.

Same score on access to contraception as Belgrade? But then again Copenhagen scores even less on this.

It also rates Paris as most LGBT friendly ?!!
That is absolutely not my experience of the place having being stuck there during mass protests against marriage equality.

I'd rate the Cork, Dublin, Benelux, London, Leeds, all of the Scandinavian cities, all the Canadian cities, etc quite a way ahead of Paris on that score.

A lot of the ratings seem to be based on counting venue listings and just dividing by population.

On LGBT stuff few gay bars can either mean that a city is beyond having a need for a segregated gay community as people are happy to socialise in mainstream venues or it can mean extremely unfriendly to LGBT communities. It's basically a very poor measure or gay friendliness.

Also I would be curious about how many people they surveyed in each city.

a survey by a site that proclaims:
"At Lazeeva, we acknowledge the importance of intercourse"
    indeed.
scientific research up there with Kinsey

(that aside, why are Hanoverians big into "facesitting"? and Utrechtonians so into "fart")

Who knows but I would have my doubts that it's remotely representative of Hamburg either.

That is probably just some form of the inferiority complex many display...

..it usually results in some form of aggressive behaviour as compensation.

I have to admit that I'm only joking. As a born and bred Norn Iron man I rarely would encounter Cork men/women and we certainly wouldn't tolerate any bull**** from them anyway. However going by on here they aren't well liked so just decided to join in with the party.

Like everywhere there will be angels and demons I suppose...

Seems to be major gripe with cork people on boards that leaves me scratching my head.it's one of the areas where i feel boards deviates from the real world.i've worked in dublin and am now back in cork.i feel like i always got on with people from other counties, especially dubs.maybe they hated me behind my back, who knows.the only thing i will say is that cork people can be clicky.they take a bit more time than your average to warm to outsiders.

I found Ireland generally quite cliquey but, I don't think it's unique to Ireland.

There's a lot of circles of people who still know each other from either school or college and they seem to be unwilling to stretch much beyond that.
