Mod: can we please discuss roundabout design elsewhere as it has no relevance to this project. The Annabella roundabout has been designed and built and won't be changing.

I came down from Cork this evening about 4.30, long queue in left hand lane, right hand lane empty, I guess it will take a while for people to get used to it, although the works have been going on for months, you would have thought people would have copped on to what was afoot. In fairness the markings further back have yet to be altered so strangers wouldn't know about the changes.

Re the stop sign, it's still there but the northbound signs are temporary YIELD so I'm assuming signage has yet to be sorted,

    Thank you Marno21

They have made a total balls of this for traffic especially truck's coming from Limerick going to Cork and towards Killarney! I can foresee plenty of collision's here as truck's cannot use the roundabout and keep to the lanes..

All the truck has to do is straddle both lanes on approach to the roundabout. Standard practice.

So the statue of the horseman isn't going to be reinstated? They've replaced with huge plastic signs. How is that an improvement? I think that it's criminal. That statue was lovely and I'm sure held in more affection by the locals than that stupid red plastic whateveritis will be. Disgraceful vandalism by the planners. Just wait till the grime and moss get going on it - it'll be horrible.

the two naked horsemen symbolised to me a meeting at the Crossroads of North Cork. I fully agree with you.
