Indexing stuck

I'm new to all this so it's probably a stupid question, I'm indexing my site, I submitted my sitemap on the 3rd, 137 pages were submitted but only 7 indexed. It shows that the sitemap has been processed. Is it a work in progress or has it stuck or could there be something I'm missing.thanks

Assuming you're referring to Google indexing your site, give it time.

Keep updating the site, keep adding content, get inbound links, link back from your sites social media account, get active on your sites social media accounts.

Google often indexes a site a few pages at a time, so make sure that the important pages you really need indexing first (i.e. your optimised landing pages) have a higher priority than your site info pages e.g. privacy policy, disclaimer etc.
