It applies to Fire tablets, but no free delivery to Ireland.

    Thanks op

How often do they have 20% off and how do you check they have it?

We is the quality like? I see Galaxy S7s for €300 after the discount

Items come with 30 day money back and 1 year warranty, but i think there is some EU law that says that the warranty is longer. I am just (barely) remembering the last thread.

They have offers like this roughly twice a year.

Quality can be almost perfect (open or damaged box) or it could have issues (pre used, found problems, sent it back).

30 days should be enough to tell if it is worth it or not. They should also say in the description "used - very good" or "used - excellent" etc.

I find "used - minor blemishes" often looks great too.

Unfortunately, the exterior looking great will have little or no effect on the performance. Again - 30 days.

Will they tape back up the boxes before posting?

Its 25% off the fire tablet. It will ship to IRL but you must pay delivery (even if you add things to order) so cheaper to go via PW/PM

Bought an Amazon warehouse Deal Acer Chromebook 14 last week. Absolutely perfect apart from the open box.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,211 ✭✭✭✭Suckit

The Fire HD 8 is £39 with discount, but as mentioned, Amazon (fulfilled by, Prime, free shipping and over £25) do not offer free shipping to Ireland, and he shipping that they do offer is expensive.

that seems unusual, I thought items over £25 (fulfilled by amazon) were free delivery.

At this stage amazon should be throwing money at 3rd party UK mailboxes.

Ordered 2 Fire tablets the other day. Should be getting them before the weekend via Parcel Wizard.
Came in at £22 each. Used a £5 voucher I got last week from an offer and with the price of Sterling I am happy out
Will see what the quality is like but these will make decent Christmas presents for the kids.

Is there any way of searching through the offers?

And definitely no free postage on this?, I always get free delivery on fulfilled by Amazon

I just ran it through the ordering stage and as the price drops to £23 approx with the 20% discount Amazon will then charge for delivery as its below the £25 mark to qualify for free delivery. Add something to the order that costs £2 or more (has to be fulfilled by Amazon) and that will then qualify for free delivery. Probably cheaper than having to use PM etc.

Edit/ The above may not work. I added the 16Gb version and even though the cost is over £30 it still wont qualify for free shipping. Strange as I ordered one of these a few months ago and got free delivery.

There is free delivery to Ireland, just not, it seems for amazon tablets.
Example a Crock-pot 4.7l Gloss Black Digital Countdown Slow Cooker is £29.43.
£24.14 at checkout with free delivery to Ireland.

    Randomly picked that one.

Yep, i just picked that at random to show. and the filler items were quoting another post.

I wonder why Fire Tabs do not seem to qualify for free shipping (even over £25).

I do not think there is a specific site, but the search box at the top of the page should do a decent job, as long as "Warehouse Deals Specials" is selected as the department to search.

Bought the 16gb Fire 7 tablet, should be fine as a small tablet for a child.

I asked on the Amazon chat about why shipping was not free to Ireland and they refunded the shipping manually!

I asked the same last night and they put me through to another department. To be fair, i did not have an order number as i had cancelled it. The next department tried to explain how amazon prime works, i just thanked them and ended the chat when it was over :D

If you buy a tablet with special offers can you pay later to remove them?

The one I'm looking at one has an option with special offers

Buy, don't pay, don't update. DYI https://liliputing.com/2017/07/fire-tablet-tool-makes-hacking-amazons-2017-tablets-easier.html - just run on PC and press from 1-5 when Fire is connected, no more adds and other crap from Amazon.

Not sure what this is like, but i just bought one for £22.58 (like new) + 20% discount = £18.52
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009S9IFOC/
Surely even if it is not a great one, it will be well worth that price (i am hoping so anyway).

Looks like this has changed to a 25% discount, at least I just bought the Fire 16GB and got 25% off.

I was charged delivery too. I went on to chat to have it removed, first person I spoke to seemed to have trouble understanding how percentages worked. Second person I spoke to removed the charge with no problems.

Final price was £28.56. Happy days! Thanks OP.

I bought a galaxy phone, projector, soundbar and other bits from Warehouse deals, all going good still. I always buy like new or very good condition. Another 20% is a great deal.

I ordered a TV from warehouse, it was delivered direct (no PM). Came with a broken stand and the bother to return it was cumbersome as the box it arrived was ripped.

If you're using one of the re-ship services I would recommend Wizard over Motel. Wizard are a little less strict when it comes to box size and I have had 2 32" TV's delivered from the UK through them for the regular charge of €3.85. No extra charge or having to pick up from a depot.
