I have a 22yr old cousin coming over from the states for two weeks in October. What tourist thing should I bring her to? It is her first time outside of the states.

Walk through Temple Bar, enjoy the ambience but don't drink there. There are plenty of pubs within a 2-3 minute walk that are similar but not rip offs in relativity.

The Greystones-Bray cliff walk is also a great way to spend a couple of hours, along with Killiney hill

As its her first time outside of the states, she'll have to do Europe. Definitely Kraków, Rome, Ballinrobe and London. Wouldn't bother with Dublin.

Two years ago I worked in a place that would hire European students. Some sort of programme that I forget the name of. Anyways average persons age was 18 / 19. One of the first things they did was take the tour at the Guinness factory when they arrived here.

Not a bad option.

Ferry to the Aran Islands. Maybe incorporate the Cliffs of Moher tour by boat, but I never really got the hype - it's just thousands of tourists walking along a cliff edge much like any other.

+1 on this, absolutely breathtaking. Shame about the wasteland-y bit on the approach to Greystones though.
