I've been training for a couple of years now and have dipped in and out of S&C classes, weights and some running but feel I'm stagnating now. A trainer who knows my form has suggested trying something totally different - he's suggesting training 6 days pw but hitting one/two muscles only each session so fry that muscle then recovery time till either 7 days later or 3

I'm finding mixed reviews online on this so wondered what you guys thought?

I've hit menopause so finding it hard to shift some weight and tone up, diet is probably 90% decent and I already workout with a mix of cardio/weights 4 times a week.

That's a great idea if you'r a hormone fueled body builder.

If you are trying to lose weight, tone up, etc. Not such a great plan. If you are working out 4 times a week with a mix weights and cardio then the issue isn't your training. Fix your diet.

    Stimulate dont annihilate.
Training with very high intensity has its place, but not so often.
