Hi lads, I have a Boru stove with a metal handle that gets extremely hot. I was just wondering has anyone replaced this with a timber one or any material that doesn't generate so much heat? I know some stoves come with timber handles

Better off just getting a heat resistant glove (a lot of the time these come with the stove).

i'm no expert but getting a handle made out of combustible material or something that would melt sounds like a bad idea.

Yeah I would have taught the same about having a timber handle but it seems to work well with another brand stove I have. Heat proof glove is probably best though, thanks
