Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone remember these scores?

    Was trying to find a couple of scores on Youtube but no joy. Both are from circa 1989-92 or so. First one was a monster point by a Mayo man whose name I think was Willie Joe Padden. AFAIR it was a Connacht provincial game, maybe even a provincial final. If I am not mistake he pointed from about 60 yards out and I dont think I have ever seen a point like it since.

    Second one is a Down player, it might have been Mickey Linden. A player went for a point and it came back off the high end of the post and the the Down player headed it first time into the net for a cracking goal.

    Can anyone add to this and if you know where they are online even better again. :)

    No Im pretty sure it was an Ulster Championship game though I am not sure who against. I remember it used to be shown every week for a good while as part of the opening sequence of BBC Northern Irelands GAA highlights show
