    Can anyone recommend a digital voice recorder for lectures.

    I think it all depends on what you're willing to spend?

    You can pick up a decent Olympus (amazon link to WS 853 model) This works out to around 63e (without delivery costs).

    If you wanted to purchase a decent power bank you could always use the likes of Audio Notetaker on your phone / laptop.

    If you're transcribing notes I recommend this site:

    It gives you a plain text field and keyboard shortcuts to quickly insert a timestamp, speed up, slow down, fast forward and rewind the recording. Keeps the emphasis on typing and not moving away to click the mouse to play / pause every few minutes!)
