Anybody operating a personal hovercraft in Ireland

Hello, I'm looking to make contact with anybody who operates a personal cruising hovercraft in Ireland. I've have just bought one from the British Hovercraft Company and would like to meet with somebody to share the adventure and learn. Anybody out there ??

Looks like good craic, a lot easier going up and down the slip than with a rib and trailer for sure. How do they handle in worse weather?

My only experience was the the training over with the company in Kent wind was 12m/s so it was tricky they say light conditions when getting used to it and then they have max force 3 sea or sea state 3 according to manual.
its capabilities as a small hovercraft vary according to surfaces loads etc I don't plan on pushing to hard its a fun machine for myself and the kids for camping fishing exploring.

What would happen if the engine were to fail out on the water - would it sink?

No the craft floats like a boat and is positively buoyant when swamped. Never want to test this.
