The votes for the date are all very close, but a Sat soft start seems to be the consensus.

I want to finalise the start date asap this week, so please post on thread whether you want the Aug or Sept start date (26th or 2nd) and the date with the most votes between those 2 on Thursday morning will be the date we go with!

I'm good with both but I'll stick a preference in for the 26th as I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms from WW :P

Just saw this now. I'll put my name forward for 18. Trials and Tribble-ations. I don't know anything about Star Trek but will give it a go anyway.

We had this last game, if you're playing, then your voice is equal to everyone else's. Vote on what suits yourself.

I was new to the game and the folk here last game made me feel welcome.

I didn't even think Id be able to play much last game with family stuff, but after some encouragement from folks here I decided to at least give it ago. Man its addictive, the game sucks you in and I just adored the mechanics of how the games work, seeing who I could and could not trust.

Reading back on the Marvel game helped me a bunch and I encourage you to do the same if you have time.

My fellow mods and i are just discussing our start date. We need 25 players, and since we dont have them in the Aug start, it kinda makes the decision more straightforward.

I should explain our plans for the sat/sun starts.

Based on the feedback from previous games, we wanted to post the rules on Saturday, keep the thread closed for a day, and then open the thread and send out the roles on the Sunday as per normal, with the game proper (munches, lynches etc etc) commencing Monday morning.

Kind of a super soft launch to allow everyone to READ THE RULES SUPER CAREFULLY.

Even if we go with the Sunday launch, we really would like to proceed with the above plan, so that is our intent at this point in time.
