Yeah I'm not a fan of press on nails but these ones look especially cheap, both in design and quality

Is it me or have the fake nails been Photoshopped onto the hand?
Especially the thumb and pinky. It doesn't look right.

It's even more obvious with the Wedding Nail - zoom in on the main photo

Looks like they just took a couple of hand photos on the marble table and Photoshopped each set on:

Oh my lord, so photoshopped on:D Sure they have the same reflection on every single fingernail in the pink colour.

Just watched sosue snaps there. She says a lot of people are asking to demo some of her sosue products on YouTube, then she suggests that they pay 75e a ticket to go to her workshop where she will spend 2hours going through her products. The cheek!

If I did get tickets to the work shop I'd be miffed if she spent two hours going through promoting her own products

They've already paid for the product, that's just gross :(

Not in the least bit surprised by her tbh, or the others. They are all just after money, they don't give a crap about their followers unless they are lining their pockets.

It's strange she's not selling them in Penny's. Especially when her lashes are doing so well in them. Maybe they're too expensive and know they won't sell.

Those of you that have bought on Ali express, have any of you had a bad experience? I'm always tempted to buy but always afraid of getting scammed by credit card fraud or something?!
Also, anyone know which 'catalog' sosueme is using? I'd be interested in having a look at it. Might create my own 'brand' 'from scratch' (I Joke!) :L

No problems with Ali express. I had one issues with a seller, the item was out of stock, they asked did I want it in a different colour, I said no and wanted a refund. They agreed to the refund but I never got it. I opened a dispute, screen shot our messages back and forth and aliexpress investigated it and processed the refund later that day. It was only for €4 but i'd rather have it in my pocket.

Her Kerry workshop is clearly not selling well. This is the 4th time in the space of a week and a half that she has been pushing it. All very awkward . Looks like Dublin isn't sold out either.......

If you've been to one of her shows, would you go again?

I've been to one of pippas and while it was an enjoyable day out, I wouldn't go to a second of hers or anyone else. Just a walking advertisement

I've been to one, definitely wouldn't go again.
I'd rather drink the money than sit through that again!

Just had a look on Ali express. Looking at their earrings range is like looking at the farfetched site.

Another who is guilty of this is the style fairy with her accessory line. She charges two and three times the price for necklaces that you could buy in your local chemist for a tenner, except hers have girls names, like the "Naomi" etc...and when I asked her about it I was blocked. I asked why she was charging €25 when I saw the same one for €9.99..I was told "I'm just a one woman business" and then I was blocked!! What do they really think of people? I'm old enough to know better but what if the 16/17/18 year olds who don't!

Off topic but the names like 'Fairy' they use are so childish and I automatically know I wont like them

I've only seen a quick glance on snapchat but Holly Carpenter's Love Lift jewellery range looks quite nice. Alex abd Ani vibes off the bracelets.
I'd be interested to see how much they are and what they're made of.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 709 ✭✭✭frogstar

Had a look there and while not my style, at least the price point is reasonable, could see a lot of teens and tweens liking it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,039 ✭✭✭✭retro:electro

The jewellery wouldn't be my style at all. But good luck to her.

From a super quick look at her instagram I quite like them I see the pendant that's the same as her tattoo so I'm thinking they aren't white label aliexpress crap?

That's exactly what I thought gossip girl! I was looking to see if I saw any of the designs at all, but it's pretty much identical to her tattoo. So I reckon she did design that one at least. Very refreshing to see non white label products!

    I agree. Awful name, imo.

Yeah I just asked someone I was with and was like 'am I not getting it??', it makes no sense at all.

That's why I thought it was going to be either sports wear or underwear line. Love lift for jewellery makes zero sense

I like the unicorn necklace! They all seem original and not more aliexpress crap. They are aimed at teens/early 20s, so I'm not the target audience.

I thought she came across well in her Life magazine interview today. Usually bloggers/models like to pretend that everything in their life is going utterly amazingly at any given moment. Holly was very honest in that she said she went through a rough patch with her self esteem. And the solution WASN'T the gym/a new man. I am sick of hearing that every problem can be solved by lifting a few weights.
