Amazing, K. Did you know the location? The only vaguely identifying thing I could make out was Waitrose, but I'll be damned if I could've gotten The Podium (above the Waitrose sign) no matter how much I squinted at the screen

Never knew the location, it was the Waitrose sign that helped. I put "Waitrose, The (left a space) town centre" in the search and got lucky :)

Guess not. Hope this one will last bit longer.

    North America, BRB?

</Waits for K.F. to type "Electrical Substation" into the google machine and stumble upon it :D:D:D>

All joking aside, this one might go the distance. (Certainly after last night/this morning's quick-fire round.)

Ah, don't be prostituting yourself, J. <slides a ten-spot over the intertubes: shaggin' Cork. again/>

Sesame Street has been brought to you today by the letter 'A': Alabama - Nope; Arizona - Landlocked; Arkansas - Landlocked.

    Juneau, Alaska?

    Not Juneau.

It's late. I'm tired. I'm watching too much "The Chase," delighted with myself that I knew Juneau is the state capital of Alaska.

It's Anchorage, no? Across from Point MacKensie?

72 hours, so Blue's Clue: it's in a (amongst others) German-speaking, somewhat discreet country.

Sorry, J, not Liechtenstein, but if you popped in das auto, you could be there in about an hour and a half.

    Geneva?

    Geneva?

    Not Geneva, BRB.

Blue's Clue #2: This is a toughie, on reflection. I once did contract work here for a large multinational insurance company which now bears this city's name.

(Apart from a feckin' huge railway station, I can't think of anything else to recommend it, to be honest.)

    Somewhere in Zurich?

So, so close, BRB. It's within the canton of Zürich alright. Here are the railway lines heading into the station

    Wild guess, the water church?

    Wild guess, the water church?

Nope, not the Wasserkirche. (Canton of Zürich, not necessarily the city of Zürich :) Mea culpa, I should have been clearer.)

(Blue's Clue #3: The city you're looking for gave its name to a Credit Suisse subsiduary that AXA bought circa 2006/7. The church contains the names of the apostles, Peter and Paul :))
