Well up to now Fair City has been very easy to predict. Ciaran kidnapped Katy, Niamh went back to Paul over and over again. Now with this, it absolutely isn't going to be the long termers who did it. Which points to the actor with the lowest hours clocked up, hence either Aoife did it for some twisted reason or Karen did it herself to frame everyone. Ill miss Aoife, she is a very good actress, sticks out a mile amongst amateurs like Carol who has played the same character her whole life.

I think carol is one of the best female actresses.

Is there such thing as different size fake baby bumps? Or do Fair City even have them? 

Maybe FC simply don't have one, or they just have the "Ready To Burst, 9 months Preggers" model and can't strap Jenny Dixon into it yet? Eva in Corrie has gotten very big all of a sudden, but they gradually worked it up so it's at least somewhat believable.

Im also wondering how the writers are going to reveal how Karen died. I was thinking they might use some sort of flashback scene but as this is Fair City the big reveal will probably be a one or two line scene in the Spar and then the show will quickly move on for the latest update on Charlies bunions.

If it was Aoife, it would suggest she is some form of psychopath / sociopath, as she's not showing any sign of remorse at her daughter's murder and is busy accusing everyone else of killing her.

It could be due to a mental breakdown, having recently confronted her rapist who also happened to be the biological father of her child.

I was fully convinced she killed herself but surely that would have been evident in the postmortem by now? Also, where did she hide the knife?

I'd like to believe it's Oisin since he's an annoying swine but since they are making it obvious that it should be him, it's probably going to be someone completely random.

I am thinking now that Aoife accidentally killed her and planted her in Wayne’s kitchen.

She seemed to calm down on Sean very quickly once he was eliminated from the enquiry.

Was taling to a script writer last night, and apparetly Ciaran came back from the sea as a tiny 4 legged amphibious people eating munch monster, who has been living in Wayne and Orlas gold fish bowl for quite a while and spotted an opportunity when no one was home, to kill Karen because of her slutty behavior with Wayne. The lack of a murder weapon is due to the fact that Ciaran the Sea Monster has a highly developed munch mouth with hundreds of tiny teeth that can munch a slit like hole in its victim within seconds while Ciaran then slithered back to the fish tank unchecked.

From what I have heard dead Karen is currently going through a metamorphosis type process that will transform her into a similar type people eating munch monster, and when that happens ( apparently takes 30 days or so) she and Ciaran will return and slither to mountjoy to worship at the altar of King Oakley of the evil sea munch monsters where they all hatch a plan to take over the Kingdom of Juniors helmet.

Queen Miriam will reunite with Oakley, Karen and Ciaran in the fountain in the park where Karen was killed and they hatch a plan to build a secret room and shove all the people in Carrigstown into it for at least 12 months with only playdoh, crayons and colouring books for entertainment. They will be fed fish from Burdocks chipper through a small hatch until they are fat enough to feed a full colony of people eating munch monsters. Their reign will then begin and Fair City will be renamed to Fish City.

well it is Fair City...the program that makes absolutely no sense, has no sense of logic, reason or reality...and where absolutely anything is possible.

For me the murderer is obviously Cass.

He took Amanda back to his vegetable shed/poitin making hut and she was never seen since.

He targets young red heads..

Maybe Cass gets rid of bodies by turning them into poitin or vegetable smoothies.. Only Karen managed to escape..

I'm really surprised Yeats and Deegan haven't figured this out yet.

Wayne and Orla really need to stop being so shifty. Stop going to Spar, the pub, the Hungry Pig etc to discuss getting their stories straight and all that. Don't they have a home where they could discuss stuff like that in private!

Aoife is really giving herself away with her aggressive and sociopathic behaviour. Its obvious she is trying her hardest, albeit too hard, to come across as the mournful mother desperate for justice but she is giving herself away now.

When I think about it, she has a touch of a sociopathic side, she did just rush straight in and try to steal Robbie with not a second thought- all the goading Carol about having sex with him etc. Her reasons for killing Karen are probably something weird like wanting to keep Robbie by her side after he initially refused to go to Belfast with her. Now hes tied to her.

The women in his life, Lucy, a Stripper wife, that primary school teacher bore with the red hair.. Then he ends up with Orla, literally in his face space. Basil Fawlty's description of Sybil come to mind for her a 'rancorous, coiffured old sow'.

His business dealings with Eddie O'Dwyer etc etc.



Pete looks totally transformed when he smiles, unbelievable what it does for him.
