I'll be honest, I haven't a clue, was only half watching! Once I seen Jake's latest unwarranted pretty defamatory statement against Pete I half switched off! I can only recall the scene in The Hungry Pig with her Mongo, Ray and your wan where (of course) it is obligatory to drag your children to in Carrigstown!

I am at a loss as to whether this Pete and Jake sh*te is a comedy or a drama plot at this stage, either way it isn't working!!

All episodes fall under the Pete Vs "someone" umbrella.
Used to be Pete Vs Paul
Then it was Pete Vs Damien...on repeat for months.
    Then Pete Vs Bob
    Pete Vs Wayne and Orla
    Pete Vs homeless man
    Pete Vs Jake....
    It's exhausting. And pointless.
And always has Dolores in the background looking an disapprovingly saying "aaaah Peeete" on repeat.

I'm confused has Juliette been recast? Was that girl in Vinos with Ray meant to be Juliette? Only watched a few minutes and sound was down!

    That's the new Juliet, yes.

Problem is she looks a good six years older than the version we last saw in 2015. She couldn't possibly have grown that much in two years either, the previous girl was tiny in stature compared to this one.

    Pete versus The Ram
    Pete versus Cristiano
    Pete versus Neil
    Pete versus Lucy

Thats why FC is not a "real" gig as such, the people in it and only in it for the cash, it certainly isn't for the character development or the rich storytelling. They are at the mercy of completely untalented and inconsistent script writers. Niamh and Paul and Delores must just be gritting their teeth at all the absolute sh!t they have to say as part of their job. The money must be very tasty...

Well if someone offered me a job on fair city id take it no bother!
Sure just pretend to drunk outta that empty cup there and order "the special" in Vinos. That's a week's work done!
Next week, walk in and out of spar on repeat and discuss your most personal business with whomever you happen to encounter.
    It's a cushy number!

You can choose your lines from our staples:

    1. Just give me five minutes to explain.....
    2. You have till tomorrow to give me my money...
    3. I have a plan.....

    No experience/rehearsal/talent needed.

Hayley's line of work seems so unbelievably random. Modelling shoots, "promos", "pitches"....she is like the early version of Orla who used to be in PR. It's all so vague.

Its enough for 3 people full time and one work experience person tho! And it keeps her in stripy suits!

Looks like she only has the one stripey suit though!

True, but many jobs are cushy numbers but we don't have to pay a license to see people performing these jobs. Its not good enough that FC is such a crap show when the public is expected to foot some of the production/wage bill via the license but I don't hold out much hope for change. Its Ireland, sure nobody is accountable from politicians to doctors to teachers to RTE producers.

Any decent FC episodes the past year or two have been an amazing happy coincidence...

    True!

Although I don't think you can put a price on the amount of entertainment we all get from it even though it's utter tripe most of the time.

Trigger referred to Dan as "special Olympics" a couple of nights ago and it is still making me laugh to myself. But the more I think about the more I think how offensive it is............

Does Carol kill Trigger or he kills himself and frames Robbie or Carol

A mass murder/suicide would be lovely.

I loved Triggers line to Dan when the wheelchaired dullard gossip was threatening Trigger
"What are you going to do.......bite me in the balls" !!

Yes I laughed at it too :o but I wonder did RTE get complaints

Trigger, Cathal, Oisin and Robbie have some great one liners and their delivery is also very good

It's the type of thing a person like Trigger would say. I've heard a lot worse.
