do i need antibiotic?

    Hi. I hope there are some dental experts reading.
    I had a filling done in a bottom molar a few weeks ago.tender after but settled well and no pain for weeks. Now the gum under that tooth is really sore. could it be an infection needing an antibiotic or is it likely to be something else? Have appointment for next week but wondering should i be started on antibiotic if needed .Thanks

    Either way you can only get an antibiotic off your dentist or doctor so ask them

    Maybe so, or maybe a root canal treatment/ extraction... see your dentist....

    Ask your dentist and then have medications.
