Water the colour of Coke on Castle Avenue, Clontarf, D3

Just reported on the phone that my water is the colour of Coke. Apparently it is now being investigated!

But the call centre person would not give a timeframe for me to stop using my mains water.
She also would not say how I would be notified or when. In fact, as far as I can see it is my responsibility to contact Irish water. There doesn't seem to be any outbound contact processes in place.

So how will I know when it is safe?

Will it be an hour, a day, a week, a month...

We are sorry to read that you are currently experiencing discolouration. Would you mind sending your full address, name and contact number by PM, and we will investigate this further.

    Kind regards,
